Desert, a place of encounter with God - Messages from God's Word

14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. Hosea 2:14

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness Matthew 4:1

16 But he withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Luke 5:16

Who in life has gone through a desert knows very well what it means to be in a situation inhospitable and isolated with only our company as inseparable and faithful Lord Jesus Christ.

When we go through a moment of great anguish and suffering we say we are going through an existential desert. Anyone who has experienced this kind of experience is well aware that the friends of the world with us for a few miles, but when thirst, heat and adversity walk tighten up our big these "friends" end up moving away.

We walked with difficulty always trusting that, with the support of a few friends who have left us able to pass quietly for that moment of great difficulty. Unfortunately, the day comes that the reality and the facts do not let us deceive more. We look around and realize that we are completely alone and abandoned by friends in the world.
Anyway! We note that even those large our "friends" had no love nor patience to accompany us on the hardest journey of our lives.

Amid the pain, suffering and the complete abandonment of the situation look better and realize that the great love of God and for our happiness, we are not as alone as we thought because the Lord Jesus Christ is on our side.
The truth is this: In the darkest hours of life and the only true friend we can really trust is our eternal friend, our God of Love, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God. The Trinity never abandons us. Our God is faithful and never disappoints those who trust in Him. The word of God teaches us that even our parents abandon us, O our God never abandons us.

Men and women who once passed through the desert of life, just as Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Caleb, Elijah, Naomi, Ruth, David, were never the same because it is not possible for someone to remain the same after have a personal encounter with the Most High God, the True Friend of our souls, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Encountering God gives men and women a new life, a new lease and a new horizon full of dreams, achievements, catering, full and abundant life beside our Beloved God.


11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 And call upon me, and you will, and pray to me, and I will hear you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD. - Jeremiah 29:11


Everything in our lives has its reasons. However, only our God knows everything and everyone. Only He knows our hearts. He alone knows what is best for us. We must never lose hope or doubt the character and the plans that our gracious Lord Jesus Christ is preparing for us. Should we trust! We must wait on Him, because if there is someone you can really trust is in Trinity and in his wonderful providence.

Everything has its season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
2 A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck what is planted;
3 time to kill and a time to heal, time to tear down and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 time to seek, and a time to lose; time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 time to tear and a time to sew, a time to be silent and a time to speak;
8 time to love and a time to hate; wartime and peacetime.

Thank God and Father! Because in the great desert of my life, fortunately for his great mercy and grace the Lord led me to my Savior, your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus restored me and brought me to your wonderful Oasis. He turned me and its impressive and incomprehensible act of love, gave me new life, abundant and happy forever.
