20 curses his father or his mother extinguish her will in his lamp, darkest. - Proverbs 20:20

This is a very special commandment. God has recommended that we would honor our fathers and mothers.

Why is it that He commanded us to do this?

Now! If in this world we are able to establish a good relationship with those who gave us life, who cared for us with all care and dedication as is our relationship with the rest of the world, and especially with our Eternal Father our true creator.

Of course it is not easy! Many houses and homes have serious problems with alcohol, drugs, adultery, fights, arguments, attacks and all kinds of disrespect among those who actually should only be loved.

If you are a son, a daughter and feels that this deal of respect and honor well spent away from home, so maybe it's a sign from God to you. This signal indicates that God is counting on you for His work is held in a powerful way in your family. God needs you to save and transform the lives of his parents and all his family.

11 Shortly after he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples went with him and a large crowd.
12 When He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, who was a widow, and she was a great crowd of the city.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier, and stopped when they that bare him, said: Mister, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 The dead man sat up and began to speak. So Jesus gave him to his mother. - Luke 7:11 15

When something pushes to the side of the children who is beside them. Friends? ... Neighbors? ... Not! The only ones who stand beside the children are the parents. Whenever parents. No matter what the child does. Parents will always be close by for after the scolding of course! help where needed. Parents, even if they wanted, never cease to be parents. The same applies to sons and daughters. It is a relationship for life.

If by chance your parents one day you leave somehow, make sure that your Father largest ever forsake you:

10 If my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Psalm 27:10

Your father and your mother are not perfect. You happen to be perfect? You never made a mistake? You have more wisdom or common sense than their parents? If you have it, praise God! Why this is a gift that God gave you to wear it very well, starting in your own home.
Using a very calm, patience and prayer to the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God is up to you to show the unbelievers of his family the true path of wisdom, understanding, truth and eternal life that is in wonderful company the Lord Jesus Christ.

15 But it is not just the gift as the offense, as if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
16 And so the gift is not like the offense, it was by one that sinned: for the judgment was actually from one offense to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification.
17 For if through the offense of one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:15 to 17

Running away and staying with "friends" is very easy. The hard part is to look at your home and see that she is a mess and fight for it. To make your home a piece of heaven here on earth is necessary for God to do a work on it. And how is he going to do if there's someone preaching His word.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good things!
16 But not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. - Romans 10:13 to 17

It was God himself who called him and put him in that family as salt and light for you to be an instrument of transformation in the lives of their parents. So you could spice and brighten the lives of their family members with a friendly, powerful and liberating the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyway! You have been chosen to make a difference in the lives of people who do not know the one true God of love.

That is why God asks us to obey our parents. That is why our God asks us to obey all authority established here on earth. Of course, this obedience is linked directly to God's laws, because only must obey the authorities of this world since it does not contravene the laws of our holy God.
