Tithes and Offerings - Evangelical Messages from God's Word

Tithes and Offerings
Tithing in the church
When you offer?

7 Since the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them.
Return unto me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But ye say, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me, and say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for they have robbed me, even you, this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that you occasioned her the greatest affluence.
11 And for your sake rebuke the devourer, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine in the field cast her fruit before the time, says the Lord of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken against you?
14 Ye have said: lnútil is to serve God. Which takes us have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?
15 Now therefore, we esteem him blessed are superb, also thrive that do wickedly: yea, they tempt God, and escape.
16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and for that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, my special possession on that day that I make, I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.
18 Then shall ye return, the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and him that serveth him not.

Mal 3:7 to 18

No matter what the area, and the occasion or place, when the money arrives at the many twists the nose and then the picture changes.

When God tells us to return to Him tithes and offerings He is actually referring the firstfruits of our lives. If you went back a few centuries ago we could see that many people do not have money, what they had was only the fruit of their labor: animals, food and other products of animal or vegetable origin that were produced by all components of the small family farms.

That is what God is trying to tell us. He's just telling us to return the firstfruits, the first part of our work for Him is where some say:

God does not need money!

Of course not! But God's work here on earth needs. If God made the system work this way Glory to God! It is He who knows everything. Our part is to fulfill our duty and return to our God of love the first part of our work to the work of the Lord is preached to those who still live in the shadows of ignorance and bondage to sin.

Let's think:

How do we know the Lord Jesus? Because we hear a sermon in church? That's when we hear a word from God on television? It was that day that you were depressed and defeated and heard a comforting word on the radio? His conversion to the Owner Maristela you that when you were sick, she visited you, spoke of Jesus and then gave you a Bible?

Anyway! Are so many stories that show us wonderful testimonies of transformation and restoration of lives because of true preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who and how were printed Bibles? How were bought? How was paid radio program? Who fed the pastor? Who put on the pastor? Who wiped your church? Who paid the bill? How was it paid for the ink that left his church a blessing?

The staff paid with bananas?

Of course not! He was blessed with the tithe of your money. That's what he serves: To provide appropriate means to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and reach those who are still outside the blessings and grace of our God and Savior.

In short, the tithe is 10% of what you earn income. It is 10% of what you will put in your pocket after a month of work.

Offers: oferte God for your time, food baskets, and cleaning products, food and other staples. If God touch your heart to give you some money so take.

Remember:

God does not need your money. He is only giving you the privilege to participate in His work. you'll want to stay out?

So: Return your tithe to our beloved God and help your church doing the Lord's work.

See how wonderful our God is. Although it was a right and our duty to return him to the Lord the first fruits of our work He still blesses us with fulfill our obligation. He blesses us not only because of the goods that we return to Him, but because of our faithfulness and obedience to His Word and by our Fear and respect our God and creator.

Our love for God is telling us to return our tithes and offerings He is very happy because we are not giving to him the important things for us, but why are we giving to Him the first fruits of our hearts. That's what happens in our lives when we put the first preaching of the Word of God our Beloved.

Now! Prosperity, wholeness, happiness and abundance of life are natural consequences of our relationship with God.

But I'm not being blessed? Does not God have been pleased of my offerings?

It is possible that yes!

Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and said, I reached a man of the Lord.
2 It has to give birth to a son, and his brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 At the end of days that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. But the Lord hearkened to Abel and to his offering,
5 but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. Wherefore Cain was angry strongly flagged and his countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance drooping?
7 If you do well, not there to lift your face? and if not do well, sin lieth at the door, and unto thee shall be his desire, but thou shalt rule over him.
8 Cain talked with Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Genesis 4:1 to 8

God the Father was pleased with Abel's offering because he offered not willingly, but because he had the fear of the Lord and always tried to walk in the ways of truth, sincerity and faithfulness of heart. You know the heart of both and God saw that Cain had a good heart, real and sincere.

Many think that God just did not like the offering of Cain and that he had given preference to Abel's offering. Nothing like that. God told us:

I want mercy and not sacrifice - Matthew 9:13

This is what God the Father wants all of us who have piety, humility and sincerity of heart in relationship with him and with our brothers.

Father God already saw in the young man's heart an evil spirit of Cain greed, jealousy and envy. So he spoke to Cain that he should dominate those bad feelings, otherwise those evil feelings bring to life his great pain and suffering. Said and done. Cain was overwhelmed by the feelings of the devil and killed his brother.

And our hearts? How would he have been in the presence of God? We are giving without grumbling, to our Lord that we are delivering the best or the only He debris and crumbs of our lives?

Stay in the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
