Gospel Message - How to have a long and happy life

In today's message we will get in touch with a word of God that has the power to bring our life much more quality of life and, consequently, the desired longevity.
This word of God, and all scripture, is the power of God at work in our lives to give to all those who have faith and trust in the Lord, a spirit and a very different story.


Let's look at that word.

But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me, I bring into the land into which he went, and his seed shall possess it. - Numbers 14:24

The word of God is telling us that Caleb had a different spirit, had a different faith, and he persevered in this way.

And what was that Caleb had a different spirit from that?

Let's see the very words of Caleb what was this spirit.

7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land. I gave a report trustworthy,
8 but my fellow Israelites who were with me made the people lose heart in fear. I, however, was entirely faithful to the Lord, my God.
9 So on that day Moses swore to me, 'Surely the land on which you trod will be a perpetual inheritance to you and to your descendants, because you have been entirely faithful to the Lord, my God.'
10 "Well, the Lord has kept me alive, as He promised. And for forty-five years since he said this to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old!
11 I am still as strong as the day Moses sent me: I now have much force to go to war as it had at the time. - Joshua 14:7-11



Caleb was faithful to God;
Caleb trusted God;
Caleb did not look at the difficulties;
Caleb had no fear of the unknown;
Caleb not mindful of the apparent advantage of the opponent;
Caleb only relied on the strength and power of the Great God of Israel;

How many of us do that today? The most common is to observe and practice the opposite of that. Because of this procedure on our part, since the time of Caleb, the Lord had that way of thinking and acting of Caleb as something different. It sure is a procedure that greatly pleases our God

Before the facts can already prophesy for our lives, if we strive to acquire that same spirit, which Caleb had, if we act with the same faith and confidence that Caleb acted, certainly we also shall we receive from our God the same as Caleb received.

What Caleb received?

Caleb received the grace to see his dreams realized, and the best he has seen this with a lot of health.
In the words of Caleb, he, despite eighty-five years of age still had the same strength, endurance, stamina and energy he was forty years old. This is amazing!

Can you imagine a man of eighty-five years old jumping and running like a man of forty?

The fact is that the things of God are like that. Impressive! Therefore, if we receive the same reward as Caleb received we must also, think and act with the same spirit, which he acted. What's more, we also persevere in our walk with God as he also persevered.

And how to use that word longevity in our lives?

As time goes by the enemy insists on wanting to put in our minds, thoughts, hearts, bodies and lives all kinds of disturbances, limitations, diseases and illnesses.

Before someone say something I already manifest: it is clear that one day we will all die, but as this time we will not get to enjoy what life has to offer. And to enjoy what life has most excellent we have to be healthy. And good health! Without health no full life. Amen!

How ever our enemy to attack us we also can not go to sleep. Whenever the devil comes to any kind of suggestion of weakness, limitation, lack of energy, depression, sedentary lifestyle, depression or illness we immediately we must remember that word longevity that our God has left us.

Let me give an example:

The enemy suggests that his leg is getting weaker every day. It's getting harder every day to walk and that going forward the thing will only get worse. What do you do?

You accept this and think this kind of thing is natural? You leave the house and go to the store to buy a cane?

No! Is not that what we men and women of faith should do. Yes we primarily have the same spirit that Caleb had. We must do as Caleb did. Let us recall?

Caleb was faithful to God;
Caleb believed the word of God;
Caleb looked no difficulties, Caleb did not heed to the suggestions of the evil one. Caleb was not prostrate before the apparent advantage of the opponent. Caleb only relied on the strength and power of the God of Israel, and he persevered to the end. Amen!

That's what we do. We have the same spirit that Caleb had differentiated. Whenever the enemy comes to attack us immediately, we must hold the strength and power of this amazing word of God for our physical, mental and spiritual.

The promise of longevity displayed in the word of God was made to Caleb. However, by faith, if we act like the same spirit he acted, it is also a reality in our lives.
