2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that there would.
4 In him was life, and this was the light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not defeated.
6 There came a man sent from God, called John
7 He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that through him all men might believe.
8 He himself was not the light, but came as a witness to the light.
9 was coming to the world the true light, which enlightens all men.
10 He is the Word that was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not recognize him.
11 He came to what was his own, but his own received him not.
12 Yet to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
13 children born not of natural descent, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 He who is the Word became flesh and lived among us. We have seen his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. - John 1:1-14
I believe many people have had this experience or have heard of someone who was looking for a spiritual path. This is a great and incessant human need.
Some people do not give much attention to this important aspect of our life, but fortunately, most people seek spiritual evolution, because people feel they need to be, parents, bosses, teachers, workers, husbands, wives, sons and daughters best.
In this quest for spiritual revelation there are people who prefer to travel to distant places. They walk, walk, and finally, after a long time searching, they end up finding that both sought, much closer than they thought.
The man and woman did not have the power to enlighten himself. Observe carefully to what the Lord Jesus Christ said on that subject.
1 There was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, an authority among the Jews.
2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Teacher, we know that you teach from God, for no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."
3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
4 Nicodemus said, "How can someone be born when he is old? Course, he can not enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again!"
5 Jesus answered, "I tell the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. - John 3: 1-6
The Lord Jesus Christ is just talking like our spiritual quest. He's taught us the path we must follow in order to achieve this our spiritual elevation. Let's look again:
I tell the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. - John 3: 1-6
When we are born in this world are born in the flesh. During our natural life, our life in the flesh, we feel a great void in our hearts and also feel a strong desire to seek something that we do not know very well what it is. We feel empty and incomplete.
This is because our essence is naturally far from God and dominated by sin and the sin that his father is the devil.
In the search for a solution to fill the emptiness we feel great, we walked through different places without getting a satisfactory answer to our needs. This sort of thing makes the devil to confuse us. It seeks to put in our lives many ways and philosophies wrong for us to be increasingly confused and away from our true God and Lord.
And how can we change this situation?
This situation can only be changed through a new birth. A birth different. A birth of spirit. A birth to spiritual life. A birth to supernatural life. A life beyond life in the flesh. A higher life. A life blessed and directed by the Creator Himself. Amen!
How does this new birth?
This birth starts with a firm decision to want this change. Then he proceeds accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord of your life and then with water baptism. It is in baptism that we will receive this new spirit that is the fruit of view of the Holy Spirit, who is God Himself in our lives.
We will not change anything in our lives. Who will make all necessary changes will be God himself who is now living in us. It's like the word says, the Lord Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Where the Lord Jesus is the devil can not stand.
We observed that many people living without direction looking for something they do not quite know what it is. However, our God has revealed to us that what these people seek is precisely this new life. What they want is that this lighting and true path that exists only in one person. Let's look again:
9 was coming to the world the true light, which enlightens all men. - John 1:9
Who came into the world? The Lord Jesus Christ.
He is who? The true light that enlightens all men and women.
That's it. What many people seek without knowing exactly what they seek is the true Light. Only the true light may illuminate and elevate the men and get them the wrong way. Remove the pit and the darkness of spiritual ignorance.
The Lord Jesus Christ said:
I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6
Friends, there is no other way. There is no truth and no real life away from the true Light of men that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
So my friend and my friend, if you have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior not wait any longer.
Do not stand there looking for something that you already know what it is. Believe on the Lord Jesus. Forget what you know. Make like Nicodemus, let your knowledge of world aside and come hear what the Lord Jesus has to teach you.
Do not leave for tomorrow what you do had to be done yesterday. Can not wait. The time to switch by light and life is now. Come and be truly happy. Come to the true path and the true Light that actually leads to eternal life. Amen!
