We are more than conquerors - evangelical messages of God's word

But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. - Romans 8:37

This verse from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Romans is very small, but the revelation and motivation he brings are tremendous.

In this world the winner is the one who wins, who wins, who wins something. It is he who comes in first in a race. It is the person who can overcome any difficulty, problem, person or event.

When someone wins, with justice, we hear:

I won! I won! I came first! Yessss! He won! He is the champion! Viva champion! It really is very good win.

In today's post we'll talk a bit more about what is to be more than a conqueror. It is very easy to talk about this theme, but with a little patience we can come to some conclusions.

People win, people who are successful in this world is applause, and glorified by the people because of their deeds. After all winning is getting to the top. Winning is the ultimate in achieving a goal that has long been desired.

Very well. And the winner is more than what?

Being a winner is more than beyond. Being a winner is more than just beat the winner. Amen!

How so?

The Winner natural fight to win glory and made land, but we are the warriors who fought to achieve supernatural spiritual merits. We strive to achieve recognition not of the world, but it's Creator. So who perseveres in this goal is more than a conqueror.

Let's take some examples of biblical characters who were more than conquerors. I believe so it will be easier to understand.

Let's start with Caleb.

Moses spoke to the people that some men were probing an unknown territory ahead of them. After some time the men returned. Once they returned it was noted that many of those who had participated in the raid were discouraged because of what they had seen in those lands. Most men feel diminished and at a great disadvantage to fight the people who lived there. Given that many acted with disbelief, and ultimately discouraging murmured.

That has not happened with Caleb because Caleb was moved by a different spirit. This different mood that Caleb brought inside him made him, where others were seeing only hardship he saw the certainty of victory. Amen!

This is to be more than a conqueror. It is sure of victory even when that seems very difficult, something crazy, improbable or even impossible.

The same thing happened with King David when he faced Goliath.
The same thing happened with the prophet Elijah when he challenged the prophets of Baal.
The same thing happened with the prophet Elisha when he was surrounded by numerous enemy army.

As our largest example, observe the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. He taught us well how to be more than a conqueror. Look at what he said:

I will, but I return to you. - John 14:28

Do not leave you as orphans; come to you. - John 14:18

This is to be more than a conqueror! It is sure of victory even before the fight begins. It is sure of victory before the fact happen. You have the certainty of victory over that which apparently is the winner, but in fact is only the defeated. Amen! Glory to God!

Who is the one who apparently is winning in our lives?

Vices?
Prostitution?
Idolatry?
Pornography?
Masturbation?
Insecurity?
Selfishness?
The lack of love?
Envy?
Lack of courage?
Adultery?
The rebellion?
Jealousy?
Drugs?
The sex life that pleases God?
The world of crime?
The lack of faith?
Avarice?
Theft?

Well, today, on the authority of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will rebuke the father of deception, the supposed winner, and demand that he let him our life, because, starting today, we take possession of our condition more than conquerors through our Lord Almighty Blood of Victory, our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. The biggest winner of all time. Amen!

Those who seek victories and glories of the world seek temporary things, but men and women of God who hear and actually practice the word of the Lord Jesus Christ are more than conquerors because besides winning their very nature evil and corrupt, there will still to get the deserved crown of victory and eternal life alongside the Holy Trinity. Amen!

This is to be more than a conqueror! You have the courage, strength and perseverance to win, day after day, our evil nature and our unbelief, using this, the huge Strength, Power and Love of our Almighty Lord of Glory. Amen!

Thank God. Stay in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
