21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord;
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, being himself the savior of the body.
24 But as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
26 in order to sanctify it, having cleansed her by the washing of water by the word,
27 to present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but holy and blameless.
28 So ought men to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ also the church;
30 because we are members of his body.
31 Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh.
32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 However, you also, each one of you, so love his own wife as himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Ephesians - Chapter 5

In the very first verse we can already notice a fundamental thing to have a blessed marriage:
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. - Ephesians 5:21


Fear of God

The wife or husband should subject themselves to each other since the Fear of God is present in the relationship. Who has the gift of the Fear of God follows God's commandments.

The Fear of God is then placed as a basic condition for a marriage to be blessed. By then it gives us to see that when a husband and wife there is the Fear of God and the couple do not live in the presence of the thing you already do not get well. We know very well that in a marriage where the Lord Jesus Christ is not present it gets more complicated. Not only for the couple and for the children too. We must never forget that the Lord Jesus clearly told us that without Him we can do nothing.

The man should be the head of the family. The woman should be submissive to her husband. Submissive does not mean canceled but supportive and cooperator. The interesting thing is that the Holy Spirit is telling us that the wife should be submissive to her husband as she is submissive to the Lord Jesus Christ. The family is the first church of God and the leader, the head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. This point is very important in a marriage.

Today this part of the wife to be submissive to her husband may seem strange because of the different ways that families have taken today. However, this is not guidance of man. This is God's teaching.

The Holy Spirit is guiding the wives to be submissive to their husbands, wives but do not think that with this, everything becomes much more comfortable and quiet for husbands not. Wives, Look at:

Ephesians 5:25 to 29

Girls look just the responsibility falls on the shoulders of husbands: They should love their wives as Jesus loved His church. The church of Jesus is all of us. And we know very well what was the quality of the love that Jesus showed for each of us.

Therefore man must be faithful, holy, integrate, God-fearing, regimented, loving, caring, always willing to help, understanding, guiding, and especially worker, if necessary, give their lives to protect and save his wife.
The husband must be a man of God, to walk in God's ways and live day by day the word of God.

The husband should also ensure not only for their own development but also be responsible for bringing his wife and children to have a communion with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The couple who listen and practice the Word of God it has the recipe to make their wedding a very happy marriage and blessed.
