I'm Missing my loved one - Evangelical Messages from God's Word

Suddenly a flash, we look to the side and, unfortunately, that our loved one, the person with whom we live as happy and wonderful moments is no longer with us. We do not want to get carried away by suffering and not with grief, but the longing is stronger and when we realize we are suffering.

Yesterday everything was fine and today, sadly the only remaining sweet memories of the moments of joy and happiness that we live together beside the beloved. The longing was relentless as our companion. She, nostalgia, insists on bringing our hearts overflowing with the sweet memories of the desperate pain of separation.

Thankfully, our Lord Jesus Christ put in the hearts of men the grace, hope and consolation that is in the name and in His mighty resurrection. What would we be if we did not have in Jesus, the certainty of reunion with our loved ones?
What would we do if our God had not bothered us and reveal this striking passage and mystery that surrounds our life and death?

So our God is a God of love. Again we note that our Father cares for us. Thank you Father! Thank you Lord Jesus Christ!

Jesus told us:

Not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

John 14:1

And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature? Because, if not able to do minimal things, why are you anxious for the rest? - Luke 12:25 and 26

Replied the Lord, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things; - Luke 10:41

How so sure the reunion? Who said that one day we will meet our loved ones, those who both love each day?
How can anyone say with certainty that one day we meet again our loved ones who have departed this life?

Jesus, the Lord of life and death, taught us that the dead sleep:

And having thus spoken, he added: Lazarus our friend sleepeth, but I'll wake it from sleep. - John 11:11

Now, if the Lord Jesus said that Lazarus who had been dead for four days, was just sleeping, that means that, like Lazarus, your mother, your father, your grandmother, your grandfather, your brother , your sister, your son, your daughter, your friends, friends or other loved one who has your party this life is also sleeping.

If they sleep and they do not suffer or think. No matter the situation and no way in which they left the important thing is that they rest in peace in the bosom of God, for the body as it was made from the dust returns to dust. The Spirit of God that animated his dear or darling back to God and that is where he will rest until the glorious day of resurrection of the dead.

Anyway, God's Word teaches us that our loved ones just rest:

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 9:5 to 6

If our beloved sleep alone has the power to awaken them is Lord Jesus. The Lord of life and death:

Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he die, yet shall he live; - John 11:25

Because this is the will of my Father, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him on the last day. - John 6:40

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me draw him: and I will raise him on the last day. - John 6:44

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. - John 6:54

The dead really rise?

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. - Daniel 12:2

If you still have any doubt if there is even the resurrection of the dead watch out for what God's word says about this amazing subject. Many people also doubt this fact.

However, it is very easy to be found the reality of the resurrection of the dead. Just look at our own lives and the lives of millions of people around the world. I ask you:

Do you remember what your life was like when you did not know the Lord Jesus Christ?
Remember the things you did?
You had peace?
He had joy?
Were you happy?
You had security?
You had the assurance of God's presence in your life?
Today, all that has changed?
Do you happen to know why your life changed?

This is where the beauty of this wonderful our God. Your life and my life changed because only God the Father in His infinite mercy sent us to the Lord of Life, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Once we accept the Lord Jesus in our lives our miserable existence has undergone a tremendous transformation that was caused by exactly wonderful Holy Spirit of God. It is the Triune God who came to dwell within us personally, and it was He, the risen Christ who operated on us all the transformations the benefits we enjoy today. Glory to God!

Jesus said to them. I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me I will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never thirst Weigh. But as I told you, you have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and whoever comes to me I will in no wise cast out. I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him who sent me. And the will of who sent me is this: that I shall lose none of all that he gave me, but raise it up on the last day. Because this is the will of my Father, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him on the last day. - John 6:35 to 40

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me draw him: and I will raise him on the last day. It is written in the prophets: And they shall be all taught of God. Therefore everyone who has heard from the Father comes to me and arrested. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, only he has seen the Father Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the bread of life. - John 6:44 to 48

The resurrection of the dead

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and is also vain and your faith.
And we are found false witnesses of God that he raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain, ye are yet in your sins.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, the firstfruits of them that slept. For as by a man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at his coming.
Then cometh the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. Now, the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For reads, all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted who put all things under him. And, when all things are subjected to him, then the Son also himself be subject unto him that all things under him, that God may be all in all. - 1 Corinthians 15: 12-28

This means that if today we have not walked in the ways of evil and try not to sin as before, this is our merit? This happened because we were intelligent, smart and strong?

Of course not!

This only happened for the wonderful grace of God and through the Holy Spirit of God that is the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, the same gloriously alive and risen Christ who operated in our life all the wonders and miracles that we see today, also operates in the same shape the lives of thousands and thousands of people around the world.

After all who do you think has changed your life and my life? Now! If it is the Lord Jesus Christ who transformed our lives, it means that he is alive, because only those who can accomplish something is alive. Remember? The dead sleep and not have any work. Well! If the Lord Jesus is alive, where is he?

God is a spirit!

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. - John 4:23 to 24

Our God is, and always will be the size of our faith:

Jesus said to him: Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. - John 20:29

13 We do not, brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in God through Jesus, make them bring with him.
15 We tell you then it is the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
 1 Thessalonians 4:13 to 18

That's it! Our dear and beloved sleep peacefully in the bosom of the Father, and we shall one day we find them again when the first resurrection of the dead. Wait on God. Trust God and persevere in walking with Him, because when that great day comes again our hearts will be flooded with the presence and love of our beloved.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. - John 14:2

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. He added, Write: for these words are trustworthy and true. He told me, It is done: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The one who is thirsty I will give to drink from the fountain of the water of life. He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son. - Revelation 21: 4-7

I leave you peace, my peace I give unto you I do not give to you as the world gives. Not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. - John 14:27

Amen and thank God. Stay in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
