Jesus is the light of life - Preaching - Gospel message of God's word

This is the message we have heard from him and pass on to you: God is light and in him is no darkness at all. - 1 John 1:5

When the energy ends up in our house we say that just the light.

In our house, when the light happens to be interrupted at any time it is a very annoying thing. If the lights go out at night then there is the thing to turn black.

If you miss the light at night can not take that bath warm, those who live in apartments can not use the elevator, who enjoys watching television will not have to see, who likes to be on the computer will not be able to connect the device ... Anyway! It is a huge hassle and a big hassle.

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. "- John 8:12

In short: we were quite bewildered when we lack that light material that is so necessary to our everyday life.
Now let's imagine the following situation:

I wonder what could happen to us then if we lack the true and fundamental light of life?

As we can see, the word tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Light of life.


1 In the beginning was the Word. He was with God and was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that there would.
4 In him was life, and this was the light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not defeated.
6 There came a man sent from God, called John
7 He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that through him all men might believe.
8 He himself was not the light, but came as a witness to the light.
9 was coming to the world the true light, which enlightens all men.
10 He is the Word that was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not recognize him.
11 He came to what was his own, but his own received him not.
12 Yet to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - John 1: 1-12


16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but that might be saved through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because they do not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, to be clearly seen that his deeds are done through God. "- John 3: 16-21


"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." - John 8:12

If when we walk with the Lord Jesus Christ we have in us the light of life that mean that if a person does not recognize the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that person is actually making the choice to live away from light and near the terrible spiritual darkness.

Let's think a bit:

How should live in spiritual darkness?

Living in darkness is to live on nothing.

Who lives in darkness does not walk alone / o, no stands, no security, lives groping for life. Has no autonomy. Not free;

Who lives in darkness is a person who is always looking for something she does not quite know what it is. The children of light know very well what she seeks, but she does not know;

Who lives in darkness has no sense of direction, this person does not know what to do, nor why;

Who lives in darkness has no joy, no hope, because the only thing that comes to mind and heart are only darkness, emptiness and darkness itself.

Who lives in darkness living a meaningless life. A life without direction. A dead life. A life without life.

35 Then Jesus said to them: "For a little while longer the light is among you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness not surprised, for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he is going. - John 12: 35

We should enjoy it while we still have this wonderful opportunity to let the Holy Spirit of God in our hearts ascend the true and fundamental light of life.

Sisters and Sisters! Already day. We can not leave for tomorrow what you should have done yesterday. If we stay asleep and then do something, there will be too late because the total darkness and not delay when it comes, she will not let us see or do anything else. Let us use the light as it is within our reach.

So cheer! Courage! Run into the light. Let the Holy Spirit of God illuminate and shine in life. Get out of the shadows and leftovers. Come today to light and to the fullness of life that is in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of light and life eternal. Amen!

I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me should stay in darkness. - John 12:46

You, however, are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, to proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. - 1 Peter 2:9
