A promise is a commitment. A compromise, in which the person who has assumed a firm intention to comply with and honor their word.

In today's post we present some of the promises that God made our sons and daughters to those who believe in Him.

Remember that God's promises are a true reality.

Indeed, ye have need of patience, that having done the will of God, ye promise - Hebrews 10:36

However, these promises of God are only reality in our lives, hear the word of God, and we use our faith with perseverance to put into practice in our lives the commandments and the word of our God and Lord.

Let us now see some of the wonderful promises of our God into our lives:


Our God will exalt us

And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail, and only you will be on top, not underneath, if hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command you today, to observe and. - Deuteronomy 28:13


Our God will give us prosperity

The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hands, and lend to many nations, but thou shalt not take borrowed. - Deuteronomy 28:12

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou wilt comply with the statutes and judgments which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel: be strong, and of good courage: be not afraid, neither be thou dread. - 1 Chronicles 22:1


Our God will fulfill all his promises of Him in our lives

And being fully persuaded that what He had promised He was also able to perform. - Romans 4:21


Let us hold fast the confession of our hope, for he who promised is faithful. - Hebrews 10:23


Our God has promised us freedom and independence to work

For labor, the work of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and you will as well. - Psalm 128:2


Our Lord Jesus Christ promised that no one would take away from the hands of Him
And I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. - John 10:28


Our Lord Jesus Christ has promised us eternal life

And this is the promise that he made us: eternal life. - 1 John 2:2


Our God has promised to get rid of poisons and traps of evil

3 He will free you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly poison. - Psalm 91:3

13 You will trample the lion and the cobra; trample the young lion and the serpent. - Psalm 91:13


Our God has promised to protect us

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; fidelity it will be your shield. - Psalm 91:4

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day;
6 nor the pestilence that moves stealthily in darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. - Psalm 91:5 and 6

7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but nothing hit.
8 You just look and see the punishment of the wicked. - Psalm 91:7 to 8

9 If you make the Most High your shelter, the Lord your refuge, 10 no harm will reach the, woe come near your tent. - Psalm 91:9 and 10

11 For he shall give his angels orders about you, to protect him in all his ways; 12 with hands they will hold you, so you do not trip over a stone. - Psalm 91: 11 and 12


Our God has promised to answer every time they cry out for Him

14 "Because he loves me, I will redeem you, I will protect him, for he knows my name. 15 He shall cry to me, and I'll answer, and will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and cover him with honor . - Psalm 91: 14 and 15


Our God promised salvation and long life

16 I will give you long life, and show him my salvation. - Psalm 91:16


The promises of our God can never be undone

The Scripture can not be broken - John 10:35


Our God has promised us success in all our endeavors.

7 Only be strong and very courageous! Be careful to obey all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; does not deviate from her, neither to the right nor to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Be sure to speak the words of this Book of the Law and meditate on it day and night, so you faithfully obey all that is written therein. Only then their paths will prosper and you will succeed. - Joshua 1: 7 and 8



Our promised to defend us from our enemies

But if ye will hear his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. - Exodus 23:22


Our God has promised to heal us


And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water: and I will take away from among you the enfermidades.Não woman will miscarry or be barren in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill. - Exodus 23: 25 and 26



All the promises of God will be fulfilled in our lives

20 For many are the promises made by God in Christ have so many "yes". Therefore, through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. - 2 Corinthians 1:20


Our God does not mind

God who does not lie - Titus 1:2

God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent: hath he would say, and not do it? Or hath he spoken, and not make it good? - Numbers 23:19


Our God is alive and powerful does not change the promises that He has given us


My covenant will I not break nor alter the promises of my lips. - Psalm 89:34



The Lord Jesus Christ promised us forgiveness

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9


The Lord Jesus Christ promised us the Holy Spirit

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! - Luke 11:13

Our God has promised to give us His wisdom

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all freely, willingly, and will be granted. - James 1:5


Our God has promised to deliver us from temptation

13 No temptation overtaken you that is not common to man. And God is faithful and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out so that you can stand. - 1 Corinthians 10:13



Our God has promised us an abundant life promised

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I am come that they might have life and have it abundantly. - John 10:10


Our God has promised us the baptism of the Holy Spirit

38 Peter replied, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is unto you, for your children and for all that are afar off, for all whom the Lord our God will call. " - Acts of the Apostles 2:29



The Lord Jesus Christ promised to alleviate our woes

28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. "- Matthew 11:28 to 30



The Lord Jesus Christ said he would never abandon us

20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I am with you always, until the end of time. "- Matthew 28:20

5 Preserve is free from love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "I will never leave, nor forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5

5 No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, I will be with you and never leave you, nor forsake you. Joshua 1: 5



The Lord Jesus Christ promised to be with us when we are praying

19 "I also tell you that if two of you on earth agree on any matter on which they shall ask, it shall be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I in among them. " - Matthew 18:19 and 20


Our Lord Jesus Christ said that He would come back and get us to

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I'm going to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place to come back and take me, for you to be where I am. - John 14: 2 and 3


Our promised to end the death

4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor pain - Revelation 21:4


Through faith in God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God today we take possession of all those promises of our God into our lives.

Someone may ask:

Is this true?

"Go! Because you believed, it will be done!" - Matthew 8:13

"Let it be done according to your faith!" - Matthew 9:29


But the just shall live by faith: And if he shrinks back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38

Our God has done His part, but in our life, the fulfillment of each of these words we have just read will rely exclusively on faith and perseverance that each person has.
